We are proud to showcase a great example of a public/private partnership to bring to market a leading edge capability.

VVL Systems partnered with BMC Software to deliver a true Hybrid Cloud capability for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, under the Office of the CIO (OCIO). USDA engaged VVL and BMC looking to enable “The Cloud Built for Government Business”.

Leveraging VVL’s decade-long experience in optimizing computing for DoD, Federal, and Commercial, we helped with the strategy, architecture, and implementation of BMC Software’s leading capabilities around Cloud Cost, Capacity, Operations, and Cloud Lifecycle Management.

The result is a hybrid cloud supporting On-Premise, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure – all with a turn key managed services that is FedRamp Moderate and complies with NIST guidelines for Government business. The result is a “Cloud built for Government Business”.

VVL Systems implemented BMC solutions in an integrated manner, as a cohesive Managed Services Platform:

  • Cloud Lifecycle Management – providing a Cloud Management Platform (CMP) capable of Day 1 and Day 2 operations in a self-service portal for AWS, Google, and Azure – together with on-prem private cloud.
  • TrueSight Vulnerability Management – true delivery of the DevSecOps, closing the blind spot/gap between vulnerability detection and vulnerability remediation for Information Security and Operations.
  • TrueSight Cloud Cost Control – offering customers the ability to understand cost and optimized capacity for hybrid cloud workloads, and able to make informed decisions on financial impact to government agencies when moving or considering the cloud – enabling a “Cloud Smart” strategy as recently cited by BMC’s DSO President David Cramer.
  • TrueSight Operations – offering customers a self-service dashboard to measure the performance and availability of their services hosted in any of the hybrid cloud environments.
