The VVL team is back from a week in beautiful Santa Clara, California. We were honored to attend and sponsor the BMC Helix Immersion Days and get a front row seat to the wave of the future. The message was clear…digital transformation is changing the way we do business and BMC is ready!
BMC merged their DSO (Digital Services Operations) and DSM (Digital Services Management) groups into one division, Digital Services and Operations Management (DSOM) that will now offer the industry first cloud based E2E platform for both service and operations led by Nayaki Nayyar. BMC Helix is a multi-cloud, multi-device, multi-channel, AI enabled platform that will enable organizations to fuel their digital transformations through technology. The week was filled with sessions jam packed with all the need to know information on all Helix has to offer, including Cloud Security, Cloud Cost Control, ITSM, Discovery, Chatbot, Digital Workplace, Business Workflows, CMDB, Client Management, Remedyforce, including hands on workshops and labs.
It was an exciting few days which was not only educational and informative for the team but also a lot of fun. BMC included several exciting networking events filled with fun, food, and music. Our very own Jared Dean, VP of Cloud Operations, stunned the crowd at the Welcome Party winning a Minute to Win It: Face the Cookie in a record breaking 14 seconds and Laura Benning, VP of Customer Engagement, took home a Yamaha electric guitar courtesy of being the grand prize raffle winner!
